Open Plains

This is a large expanse of prairie that is home to many deer and elk. Long golden grasses hide the shorter species who live out here, scraggly trees give little cover and bushes root themselves in the hard soil stubbornly. Little water finds it way out here except during the raining season when small parts of the Plains can become flooded and the watering holes so deep they would swallow an entire elk.
